CCRO Tagum Strengthens Civil Registration Awareness Among Muslim Leaders
The Tagum City Muslim Affairs Office invited City Civil Registrar Editha G. McCartney to speak during the meeting for the Muslim Leaders and Imams in the 23 barangays or Jama’ah of Tagum City.
During this activity, CCR McCartney was able to shed lights on perennial issues and concerns of the Muslim Tagumenyos, such as:
1. Late and Non-Registration of Birth and Marriage;
2. Requirements for Late Registration of Birth;
3. Correction of Clerical Error;
4. Legitimation;
5. Renewal of the Certificate of Registration of the Authority to Solemnize Marriage (CRASM); and
6. Other concerns pertaining to civil registry documents.
CCR McCartney also encouraged these Muslim Leaders to promote the Birth Registration Assistance Program (BRAP) to their respective members.
During this activity, the Tagum City Muslim Affairs Office had arranged several mobile civil registrations (BRAP) to be conducted in the community of the leaders.
