Tagum City LCRO nabs three champion awards during the 34th Civil Registration Month Culmination Event
To conclude the 34th Civil Registration Month Celebration, Tagum City Civil Registrar’s Office hosted the Culmination Program conducted by Philippine Statistics Authority Davao del Norte Provincial Statistics Office and League of Local Civil Registrars in Davao del Norte on February 29, 2024 at Theatre Hall, Tagum City Historical and Cultural Center.
In this event, the Office of the City Civil Registrar was adjudged with an “Exemplary Performance Award” for the overall performance in the submission of civil registry documents and implementation of civil registration programs and activities in the province of Davao del Norte for the year 2023.
The Office was also declared winner in various contests, and bagged the following awards:
Champion - Local Civil Registry Office Documentary Contest
Champion - 34th Civil Registration Month Digital Arts Contest
Champion - 34th Civil Registration Month Dance Contest
During the program, Acting City Civil Registrar Editha G. McCartney, together with Registration Officer IV Ms. Baby Jean P. Alid of Philippine Statistics Authority – Davao Region Statistical Services Office, was also recognized for representing Region XI which resulted in placing 1st Runner-Up in the 4th National Civil Registration and Vital Statistics Quiz Bee held on February 28, 2024 at PSA Complex, East Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City.
